Chocolate Chip Protein Bites
Looking for a snack to get you through the afternoon slump? These Chocolate Chip Protein Bites have all the healthy, fats, protein and fibre to keep you fuelled up!
This recipe is gluten free, dairy free and refined sugar free.
I N G R E D I E N T S
1/2 scoop protein powder (Genuine Health Fermented Vegan Proteins+)
1 cup gluten-free quick oats
1/4 cup shredded coconut
10 dates (pitted)
2 tbsp almond butter or sunflower seed butter (for nut free)
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp chocolate chips- Enjoy Life brand is my pick as they are dairy free
Optional: 1/4 cup raw cacao powder (not to be confused with cocoa powder which is processed)
D I R E C T I O N S
This one is super easy.. simply combine all of the ingredients in a food processor and blend. Then roll into small balls. If these come out a bit dry, add 1 more tbsp of maple syrup and 1 more tbsp of nut or seed butter.
